Job Description

Mezze Mediterranean Kitchen is searching for an opening General Manager for their new operation opening in the Fall 2026.  

Mezze Mediterranean Kitchen is bringing fresh, vibrant Mediterranean cuisine to downtown Des Moines in a fast-casual, quick-service setting. Opening Fall 2026 in the historic Temple for Performing Arts at 1011 Locust Street, Mezze will feature made-to-order salads, grain bowls, wraps, and house-made spreads, sauces, and toppings. 

We're looking for an experienced, energetic General Manager to lead our team and help establish Mezze as one of downtown Des Moines' premier dining destinations.

As General Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including both front- and back-of-house management. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of restaurant or quick-service leadership experience, positive, hands-on leadership style and a passion for hospitality. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are needed.

Salary ranges from $55,000-$62,000 DOE.  Benefits available include matched 401K, health, dental & vision insurance and paid time off. Mezze will be closed on Sundays, availability must include evenings.
