Slim Chickens- General Manager

This full-time, on-site role offers you the chance to sharpen your management skills while working with a delicious menu and a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities- Operations
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure top-quality food, service, and sanitation
- Manage and supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff with enthusiasm and care
- Assign daily work tasks and maintain proper inventory levels
- Reconcile cash registers and maintain accurate records in compliance with laws and company policies
- Ensure all staff adhere to safety, food handling, and company standards
Key Responsibilities- Management
- Recruit, interview, and hire motivated staff for all positions
- Train and develop Shift Leaders and hourly employees to perform at their best
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary
- Adjust schedules to maintain smooth operations and approve overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities- Leadership
- Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude at all times
- Communicate effectively with management, staff, guests, and vendors
- Lead team meetings and delegate tasks to achieve company goals
- Resolve employee concerns with tact and professionalism
Work Conditions & Qualifications
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work extended hours
- Ability to stand and walk frequently during shifts
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent communication, math, and computer skills
- At least 3 years of restaurant management experience
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a well-groomed, professional appearance
- Positive attitude, maturity, and self-discipline
