Job Description
We are actively hiring a hands-on General Manager who is also a fully licensed HVAC professional. This role is ideal for an experienced HVAC technician who enjoys working in the field while also overseeing operations and helping grow a team.
The General Manager will perform residential and light commercial HVAC service, maintenance, and installation while helping build and lead a technician team. This person will set standards, manage jobs, train future technicians, ensure customer satisfaction, and support the growth of the business locally.
This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to help shape operations, culture, and growth while remaining hands-on in the trade.
Key Qualifications
- Active HVAC license required to perform work independently in Ohio
- Strong troubleshooting and technical HVAC skills
- Experience with residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong customer communication and professionalism
- Ability to manage schedules, prioritize jobs, and coordinate with ownership
- Comfortable mentoring and training junior technicians
- Strong work ethic and accountability
- Background check and drug test done prior to start
Compensation
- $100,000 Base Salary
- Up to 20% Performance Bonus
- 10% based on gross margin goals
- 10% based on revenue goals
