About The CompanyThe company is a high-growth, culture-forward workplace services provider helping top employers elevate their employee experience through premium food, beverage, and office hospitality. With $13M in revenue and plans to scale to $100M across 20 markets, we're growing our Austin market and looking for a gritty, high-ownership General Manager to take the reins and build something real.
The OpportunityThis is not a cushy GM role with a large team handed to you on day one — it’s a builder’s role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, rolls up their sleeves, and scales what’s already working. You’ll take ownership of our Austin operations, overseeing client relationships, while growing your team, optimizing processes, and owning full P&L responsibility for a business that’s been operating and gaining traction for the past year. You’ll be tasked with two mission-criticalobjectives:
- Building and leading a high-performance delivery and ops team
- Delivering white-glove service and 100% client satisfaction
- Sales, marketing, and back-office functions are covered — your job is toown operations and retention, execute the playbook, and scale your local market.
What You’ll Do
- Operations Leadership & Client Service
- Lead Austin market operations
- Oversee daily operations and team schedules to ensure on-time deliveryand exceptional service
- Personally assist with service delivery and hands-on support when needed
- Own the local P&L, driving profitability through smart labor, logistics, andcost controls
- Conduct regular client site visits and actively manage relationships to driveretention
- Team Building & People Development
- Hire, onboard, and train a frontline ops team (starting with 4, scaling to60+)
- Develop team culture, enforce accountability, and coach for continuousimprovement
- Foster collaboration with HQ teams and communicate service needs andfeedback
- Maintain high merchandising standards and consistent operationalexcellence
- Strategic Execution
- Implement and iterate on the company’s proven operational playbook
- Adapt Austin delivery strategies to meet unique local traffic and buildingaccess challenges
- Identify and resolve operational issues with speed and resourcefulness
- Contribute to long-term planning and market expansion strategy
You’d Be a Great Fit If You Have:
- 5–10+ years of relevant work experience, including small-unit or frontlineleadership
- Experience in service delivery, logistics, or customer-facing operations
- Route-based, warehouse, or food & beverage experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use basic mechanical tools (coffee/fridgeinstalls, etc.)
- Strong operational planning skills — proactive, decisive, and detail-oriented
- A “no job is beneath me” mindset and willingness to work physically
- Familiarity with Austin delivery routes and traffic realities
- Hands-on, humble leadership style — you build respect by doing the work
- Tech literacy: Gmail, spreadsheets, mobile ops apps, route software, etc.
