Job Title: General Office Clerk 1 –GENOC1Location: Birmingham, AL 35203 (Onsite)Duration: 06/01/2026 –04/01/2027Pay Rate: $17.10/hrShift Timings: 1st shiftJob Description: Provide clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth office operations, including data entry, document handling, scheduling support, and general office coordination for O&M and capital activities.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate data entry in spreadsheets, databases, and systems
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and distribution
- File, scan, photocopy, and maintain organized records
- Greet visitors and assist with front desk support
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and events
- Maintain office supplies and inventory tracking
- Support time entry for DCC employees
- Maintain clean and organized office environment
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, data entry tools)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage routine administrative tasks
- Professional customer service mindset
- Organizational and multitasking ability
- High School Diploma or equivalent
