General Warehouse Associate (Packing & Repacking)

Position SummaryThe General Warehouse Associate is responsible for unpacking, inspecting, sorting, repacking, and preparing cereal products for distribution. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, and adherence to all safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Unpack cereal products from cartons, cases, or pallets.
  • Inspect products and packaging for damage, defects, or quality issues.
  • Sort and organize products according to customer and production requirements.
  • Repack cereal products into designated packaging and display units.
  • Label, seal, and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Stack, palletize, and wrap completed orders.
  • Maintain production quotas while ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Assist with general warehouse and production duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 35-50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive hand motions.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Previous warehouse, packaging, production, or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

  • Food production and warehouse environment.
  • Fast-paced setting with repetitive tasks.
  • May require overtime and weekend work based on production needs.
  • Must adhere to all safety, sanitation, and quality standards.#INDYK
