Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a dedicated General Housekeeping professional to join their team. As a General Housekeeping team member, you will be supporting the warehouse operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for all staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: General Warehouse Housekeeping
Location: Hauppauge, NY
Pay Range: $19 - $20
Shift: 10:00AM - 2:00PM, Monday to Friday
What's the Job?
- Perform general food safety and housekeeping tasks within the warehouse
- Sweep the warehouse floors to maintain cleanliness
- Dust and mop designated areas, including white lines
- Empty trash bins and gaylords regularly to ensure a tidy environment
- Clean and organize the depot to support efficient operations
What's Needed?
- 1+ years of warehouse cleaning experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping and mopping
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a positive work attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
