Job Description

Preferred Personnel Solutions, in cooperation with multiple Essential Businesses, are actively seeking reliable and experienced candidates to fill immediate openings today! These positions are temp to hire, offering weekly pay, immediate start, room for growth, and great benefits once the requirements are met.

Positions Available:
  • Order Selectors.
  • Quality Control Associates.
  • Forklift Operators.
  • Loaders/Unloaders.
  • Production Workers.
  • Inventory Specialist.
Screening required include:After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, candidate must meet below qualifications: 
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Must be able to lift between 20-75 lbs. depending on position.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Overview of Skills and Responsibilities:
Skills:
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Complete diary logs into inventory.
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
