Job Description

Preferred Personnel Solutions, in cooperation with multiple Essential Businesses, are actively seeking reliable and experienced candidates to fill immediate openings today! These positions are temp-to-hire, offering weekly pay, immediate start, room for growth, and great benefits once the requirements are met.

Positions Available:
  • Order Selectors.
  • Quality Control Associates.
  • Forklift Operators.
  • Loaders/Unloaders.
  • Production Workers.
  • Inventory Specialist.
Screening required includes:After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, the candidate must meet below qualifications:
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Must be able to lift between 20-75 lbs. depending on the position.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Overview of Skills and Responsibilities:
Skills:
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Complete diary logs into inventory.
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
