What You'll Do

• Manage deadline-driven proposal development process from beginning to end-including setting and leading meetings-working with business development leads, project managers, and technical staff, under guidance from the area marketing manager
• Provide message development for proposals-conceptualizing, researching, and producing content, including graphic development
• Create layout and ultimate document design of proposals and other marketing collateral, utilizing existing templates and brand standards
• Write non-technical copy, and edit, proofread, and shape copy provided by technical staff
• Support other marketing efforts by coordinating business strategies, participating in client development, preparing presentations, tracking pursuits and client requests, and generating reports
• Maintain accurate project and resume data in business development systems
• Maintain marketing intranet, collaboration, and file repository sites
• Responsible for maintaining quality control standards for proposal and marketing components

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person
• Bachelor's degree in marketing and/or communications

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
• Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight
• Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
