Pay Rate: $25 - $28 per hour

Geotechnical Engineering Intern

Delve Underground is seeking an entry level Geotechnical Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to join our team to assist our technical team with a variety of field and office assignments, with a focus on geotechnical or structural engineering analyses. You will be assisting with subsurface explorations and construction oversight, calculations, preparation of reports, preparation of plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering program with Geotechnical or Structural emphasis, working toward bachelor or master degree.
Microsoft Office experience.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Willingness to learn how to perform geotechnical engineering analyses and design calculations for tunnels, shafts, foundations, temporary excavation support systems, and soil/rock slopes.
Willingness to learn how to perform seismic hazard evaluations, such as liquefaction and lateral spreading analyses.
