Geotechnical Engineering Intern – Megaprojects (Houston)
Tolunay-Wong Engineers is seeking a full-time Geotechnical Engineering Intern to support our Megaprojects group in Houston. This role offers hands-on exposure to largescale industrial and infrastructure projects, working alongside experienced engineers and senior leadership.What You’ll Do• Assist with geotechnical field investigations and data collection• Support laboratory testing and coordination of soil and material samples• Help with engineering analyses and report preparation• Collaborate with engineering staff on active mega-projects• Learn how quality, safety, and schedules are managed on high-profile client work
What We’re Looking For• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering• Interest in fieldwork, laboratory testing, and engineering analysis• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environmentWhy This Internship• Direct exposure to major industrial and mega-project clients• Mentorship from experienced engineers and leadership• Practical, real-world geotechnical experience that builds a strong foundation for aQualifications
- Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
