Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
Location: Bowie, MD (20716)Shift: Night Shift | 11:00 PM 07:00 AMAssignment: Contract | April 2, 2026 May 28, 2026
Compensation$15.15 $17.70/hr
Assignment Details- Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours/week
- Contract Length: 9 weeks
- Meal Break: 30 minutes
We are seeking a compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to provide high-quality care and support to elderly patients in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Support mobility and safe patient transfers
- Maintain a clean and safe care environment
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and residents
- Document care provided accurately
- Active GNA Certification (State of Maryland)
- Previous long-term care experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Must bring valid government-issued ID
- Facility compliance requirements apply
