Title: GIS Technical Program Manager Location: Austin, TX

Salary Range: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team for a 6-month engagement in Austin, TX. This role requires a dedicated individual who can manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with our Project Management Methodology. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Applicants must be able to work directly for our company on a W2 basis.
Proven experience in managing GIS-related projects.
Familiarity with GIS software and tools.
Must have 7 years of experience in Planview Project & Portfolio Management
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience working with diverse teams and vendors.
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects and execute all phases in alignment with Project Management Methodology.
Collaborate across GIS teams, vendors, business units, and support groups to coordinate project activities.
Deliver projects within defined scope, budget, and timelines while ensuring quality.
Develop comprehensive project plans covering end-to-end activities and outcomes.
Prioritize deliverables and ensure timely completion.
Communicate project status to key stakeholders on a regular cadence.
