Job Description
Glass Fabrication Technician
HireCall is hiring! We’re looking for an experienced Glass Fabrication Technician to join a busy production team. If you have strong hands-on glass cutting experience and know your way around polishing and beveling equipment, this could be a great opportunity.
Pay
$17–$25 per hour, depending on experience
What You’ll Do
- Hand cut glass to precise measurements and specifications
- Operate glass polishers and beveling equipment
- Inspect finished glass for quality and accuracy
- Read work orders and fabrication drawings
- Safely handle and move glass
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on glass cutting experience
- Experience operating polishing and beveling equipment
- Strong knowledge of glass types and fabrication methods
- Excellent measuring skills and attention to detail
- Ability to safely lift and handle glass
- Reliable, consistent, and quality-focused
- Must submit to a background check
- Able to pass safety-sensitive drug test
Preferred Experience
- Custom glass fabrication
- CNC equipment
- Tempering furnace/equipment
- Basic equipment maintenance
Work Environment
This is a hands-on shop environment requiring extended periods of standing, lifting, and handling glass. Proper PPE is required.
