I can succeed as a Senior Manager of Financial & Regulatory Reporting at Capital Group

As the Senior Manager of Financial & Regulatory Reporting, you bring deep technical accounting expertise, regulatory judgment, financial reporting acumen, and people leadership to help Capital Group deliver trusted, high‑quality financial reporting in service of our long‑term strategy. You thrive at the intersection of accounting policy, regulatory requirements, and business finance, translating complexity into clarity, sound decisions, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and shape accounting policy and technical accounting interpretations for complex and judgmental transactions.

  • Lead external financial statement reporting, including coordination with external auditors and alignment with governance bodies.

  • Oversee financial regulatory reporting and examination support, ensuring credibility, consistency, and strong regulator relationships.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor bridging Accounting and Business Finance on complex technical and regulatory matters.

  • Play a pivotal role in standing up an Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) Center of Enablement to strengthen controls and scalability.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $164,539-$279,716

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
