Global Head of Data Acquisition
We are looking for a Global Head of Data Acquisition who is Collaborative, Curious, and Care focused to join our Integrated Insights, Patient Evidence team, based at our UCB offices in either Raleigh, North Carolina or Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
About the role
You are going to shape a data strategy for the whole organization, helping UCB understand patient needs and make meaningful decisions. You will turn important business questions into clear data priorities, ensuring every dataset supports better outcomes for people living with severe diseases. You will support the Human‑Science balance by making high‑quality healthcare data accessible, trusted, and ready for deeper insights.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate with a supportive global network across development and commercialization. You will partner with therapeutic area teams, Real‑World Evidence colleagues, medical partners, commercial teams, and the Global Data Office. You will also work with Digital Technology, purchasing, finance, and external data providers to ensure data suitability, compliance, and long‑term value. You will be surrounded by teammates who share curiosity, collaboration, and commitment to patient value.

- You will enable a unified data strategy supporting all therapeutic areas
- You will contribute to shaping the team's vision and operating model
- You will support specialists ensuring high‑value data acquisitions
- You will collaborate with senior partners to prioritize data needs
- You will coordinate how we explore global data sources and partnerships
- You will create plans for how data supports key portfolio priorities
Interested?
For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
- Master's or Doctor's degree in a quantitative field
- Experience advising on data acquisition strategy for key applications
- Experience working with different types of global healthcare data
- Experience supporting and developing teams in complex environments
- Ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements
- Ability to collaborate effectively across scientific and business teams
Internal applicants should be in their current job for at least 12 months, must meet performance standards and are not on formal corrective/disciplinary process (PIP), warning, final warning, or compliance warning letters within the last 12 months.
