WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
The Global Marketing Strategic Projects Secondee will provide business support to the Senior Director, Global Marketing Strategic Projects Lead in service of the Global Marketing Lead and Global Marketing community.
This role will support various Global Marketing initiatives, in particular leading Agency Model Ways of Working Operations/Improvement. Through 2025, the pain points in the current model were highlighted, with several challenges for Global Marketing that were preventing teams from efficiently and effectively delivering on their goals, focused around greater quality output, speed and cost efficiencies.
Global Marketing is leading the evolution of operating model to address these specific pain points and builds solutions that can meet the needs of Global and the Regions. The needs of Global Marketing should be specifically addressed given the uniqueness of what the global marketing brands do (i.e. origination of content, strategic leadership, etc) and to ensure the connectivity of these teams to both US and ICO are maintained.
Additionally, this role will provide support to drive other Global Marketing initiatives, such as people empowerment/ engagement, Brand Strategy Refresh, OP, communications, etc.
HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
Agency Model Wasy of Working Operations/Improvement
Act as liaison to existing CMO workstreams to drive key project implementation, E2E Content Strategy (incl core component), MLR /DAM, GEN AI.
Partner with Publicis and represent Global marketing in key workstreams in the agency model and ensure feedback provided and solutions tailored.
Leadership and coordination of the Global Marketing Advisory Council (GMAC).
Provide overall leadership to Global Marketers to ensure clarity and execution of the model.
Drive alignment on the WoW between Global and US/ICO.
Ensure GM clarity on the model and how best to leverage – deliver playbooks and Implementation Guides as needed.
Ensure clear communications on update of work to Global Marketing Leadership/CMO.
Strategic Projects/Business Operations:
Help address and coordinate resolution of requests from various Pfizer/Global Marketing stakeholders (e.g., GM LT members, CMO, ICO, etc.).
Support planning, management and coordination of select meetings (e.g., quarterly business reviews, etc.).
Support planning and execution of commercial townhalls; drive new ideas for colleague engagement.
Support internal communications of Global Marketing & Global Marketing Lead.
Support other strategic projects/operations needs as needed.
Project Leadership
Act as a leader and/or point of contact for selected projects, either alone or in partnership with others.
Provide input to other leaders/teams/colleagues as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
BA/BS with 8+ years of experience.
Experience in pharmaceutical marketing.
Deep understanding of the agency-marketing model including translating gaps into clear solutions needed to drive success.
Nice-to-Have
MBA/MS with 7+ years of experience; OR PhD or JD with 5+ years of experience.
Strong marketing experience across lifecycle.
Strong influencing skills and impact without authority.
Experience in creative development and direct agency management.
Ability to plan, organize, focus and execute with urgency.
Strong ability to bring multiple stakeholders together and align on shared vision often within ambiguity.
Excellent communication skills to internal & external partners; strong verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex situations in a matrix organizational structure.
Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.

Secondment 12 months

Position is considered Flexible, and colleagues are expected to comply with Log In For Your Day (LIFYD) requirements at site location (e.g. about 2.5 days a week in office).
