Job Description
• Job Title: Global Regulatory Compliance Manager• Location: Pine Brook, New Jersey• Type: Direct Hire• Compensation: $115,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year• Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote• Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM EST
Responsibilities
- Lead global product regulatory compliance capability across multiple countries and product lines.
- Drive global regulatory strategies, coordinate cross-functional councils, and integrate technologies such as AI to enhance compliance processes.
- Manage regulatory budgets, resources, and oversee the development of global compliance programs.
- Conduct global risk assessments, interpret complex multi-regional requirements, and develop strategies to mitigate regulatory risks.
- Bridge compliance with commercial strategies to promote responsible innovation.
- Coordinate packaging compliance councils to review future regulations and trends, providing recommendations for global harmonization.
- Lead the implementation of enterprise-wide regulatory compliance technology, digital transformation, and AI solutions.
- Manage global regulatory projects, develop training programs, and foster relationships with regulatory authorities.
- Ensure laboratory operations remain compliant across all regions.
- Oversee global regulatory budgets and resources effectively.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, environmental sciences, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in regulatory compliance, with over 10 years in CPG-specific roles.
- Deep global knowledge of chemical regulatory compliance in Americas, EIMEA, and APAC regions.
- Experience developing and harmonizing compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong ability to interpret ambiguous regulatory requirements and conduct risk assessments.
- Experience with regulatory technology integration, including AI solutions.
- Proven track record managing regulatory budgets, projects, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
- Regulatory affairs certification with specialized expertise or law degree with regulatory focus is advantageous.
- Ability to travel 5-10% domestically and internationally.
