Job Description Summary
The Global Supply Chain Architect – Manufacturing Strategy & Materials is responsible for defining, designing, and evolving the end-to-end operating model of the Controls Global Supply Chain organization while also leading the Global Materials organization responsible for materials fulfillment across the SCS manufacturing and flow network. This role establishes scalable, standardized, and digitally enabled processes that drive operational rigor, and innovation across regions and SCS product lines, while ensuring reliable material availability and effective global parts fulfillment to support manufacturing operations.The position acts as the strategic architect of the SCS Supply Chain transformation and the global leader of the Materials Fulfillment function, working closely with the GSC Excellence Leader to implement improvements, Operations Leader/Plant Leaders to ensure solutions are practical and scalable, and the Lean Leader to assure the Supply Chain design will be operationally effective while maintaining strong materials execution across the network.

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Process Architecture
Define and maintain the global supply chain operating model and process architecture. Design standardized end-to-end processes across sourcing, planning, fulfillment, digital technology, logistics, parts management, and manufacturing interfaces always respecting regional specifics. Establish global materials fulfillment strategies that ensure consistent material flow from key suppliers through the manufacturing network. Identify systemic improvement opportunities aligned with business strategy and operational priorities. Ensure scalability and repeatability of processes across regions and product lines.
Materials Fulfillment Leadership
Lead the Materials organization responsible for materials fulfillment supporting all SCS manufacturing sites. Ensure reliable material availability through coordination with sourcing, planning, logistics, and manufacturing operations. Oversee global parts management and fulfillment processes supporting manufacturing and service needs. Drive standardized materials fulfillment processes across plants and regions to improve delivery performance and operational stability. Partner with key suppliers and internal teams to ensure supply continuity and responsiveness to changing manufacturing demands. Support operational execution by aligning materials readiness with production schedules and operational priorities.
Own the global material strategy, revenue and fulfillment of parts/flow orders across the globe.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
Lead identification of sustainable productivity and cost-out opportunities aligned to the GSC yearly targets. Drive process improvement through structured frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, digital transformation). Develop future-state process roadmaps and transformation strategies. Ensure alignment between long-term architecture vision and short-term operational priorities.
Digital & Data Enablement
Define digital requirements and process automation opportunities. Support development of data models, dashboards, and performance visibility frameworks. Drive adoption of digital tools to enhance decision-making, materials visibility, and process efficiency.
Governance & Standardization
Establish governance frameworks for process ownership and lifecycle management. Create standardized playbooks, process documentation, and best practices. Ensure alignment with compliance, quality, EHS, and regulatory requirements.
Operational Feedback Integration
Capture structured feedback from Operations teams regarding process performance and materials fulfillment effectiveness. Translate operational insights into continuous architecture and materials fulfillment improvements. Maintain a closed-loop improvement cycle connecting design, implementation, and execution.

Required Qualifications
Significant experience in supply chain, manufacturing, materials management, or operations leadership roles. Experience with process design, operating model transformation, materials fulfillment, or enterprise architecture. Knowledge of Lean principles, process optimization, and digital supply chain tools. Proven ability to influence across functions and regions without direct authority. Strategic thinking combined with practical operational understanding. Experience operating in matrixed, global organizations, managing complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities while maintaining disciplined execution and accountability. Track record of leading integrations, process standardization, materials fulfillment optimization, and change management across global or multi-site operations.
