GM Technicians needed

Job Summary:Central GMC of Norwood is seeking skilled and experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team. As a General Motors Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. This is a full-time position within our service department.Compensation & Benefits:Flat rate positions starting at $35.00/hour,  flexible shift scheduling options available for a happy work life balance. We offer a industry leading comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid training, retirement savings options, and employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and services.Responsibilities:- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and diagnose any issues using diagnostic equipment and tools- Complete repairs and maintenance tasks according to dealership and manufacturer standards- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and provide accurate estimates of repair costs- Keep detailed records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Continuously update technical knowledge by completing training programs and staying up-to-date on manufacturer guidelines- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelinesRequirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Automotive Technician- General Motors/ASE certifications preferred but not required- Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record- Strong attention to detail and time management skills- Excellent customer service and communication skillsEEOC Statement:Central GMC of Norwood is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
