GNA/CNA - Geriatric Nursing Assistant
Full Time and Part Time | Days and Nights| Starting at $19.50/hour
Per Diem | All Shifts | $25/hour
8 or 12 hour shift options

Responsibilities of a GNA/CNA - Geriatric Nursing Assistant:
- Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing) per policy
- Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake, and bowel movements
- Observe residents and report physical or behavioral changes to nursing staff
- Assist with toileting, incontinence care, and repositioning every 2 hours
- Support safe lifting, transfers, and ambulation
- Maintain clean, safe resident rooms; change linens and handle laundry
- Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration; monitor intake
- Help with admissions, discharges, and room transitions
Requirements of a GNA/CNA - Geriatric Nursing Assistant:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to the three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Maryland state geriatric nursing assistant registration or CNA-I certification required.
