Job Description
What can I expect?
• Help build the next generation of female leaders!• Assist Troops and Girl Scout volunteers!• Prepare and help distribute patches, recruitment materials, and booth supplies!• Assist in creating and organizing materials for recruitment booths, events, and facilitator-led troop meetings!• Collaborate with team members, Girl Scout Members, and Vendors!• Help identify community needs and come up with practical ideas to address them!• Participate in staff engagement activities and Team on the Move meetings!• Join staff as we celebrate different milestones with cake, bingo, and activities curated by our Ambassador of Fun!• Performs other duties as assigned.
Teams
- Marketing & Communication - (Digital media, graphic design, media communications)
- Advancement - (Philanthropy, event planning, administrative work, donor relations)
- Girl Experience - (Event Planning, vendor contacts, youth knowledge, program facilitation)
- Troop Support - (Customer relations, badge/ program box preparation/ distribution)
- Product Sales - (Booster box preparation/ distribution, Salesforce, Troop resource support)
- Membership - (Troop support, recruitment, outreach identification)
- Member Care & Volunteer Training - (Customer service, phone support, Zoom experience)
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled FAU Junior or Senior enrolled in the Government and Nonprofit internship program
- Complete the Internship application on the GSSEF Career site
- Have the ability to commute to the Lake Worth Headquarters and event sites.
