Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Government Contract Manager to oversee real estate-related contract operations, lead staff, and ensure accurate, timely delivery of contractual requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and comfortable managing deadlines, performance standards, and government client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily contract operations and ensure compliance with contract requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government representatives and internal leadership.
- Lead team supervisors and staff, assign priorities, and monitor workloads and productivity.
- Track deliverables, deadlines, service standards, and performance metrics.
- Review reports and work products for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Address operational issues, client concerns, and escalated cases.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- Maintain contract records and support audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate staffing, training, and process improvements.
- Monitor contract costs and resource needs with company leadership.
- Communicate contract changes and ensure staff follow updated requirements.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience managing government contracts or federal program operations.
- Experience supervising teams and managing multiple deadlines.
- Working knowledge of federal contracting requirements and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and reporting tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, management, or a related field preferred.
- HUD, FHA, mortgage servicing, claims processing, or real estate asset management experience preferred.
