JOB SUMMARY

Southern Nazarene University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant for SNU Athletics Communications. The University is a member of the NCAA II Great American Conference. The successful candidate will have mature, growing relationship with Christ and some experience in graphics software, stats software and/or social media promotion. The SNU Athletics Communications Graduate Assistant will assist the SNU Director of Athletics Communications in the promotion/tracking of all sports and student-athletes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Director of Athletics Communications in providing promotional coverage for the various SNU sports and student-athletes.
  • Play an integral role in the day-to-day execution of "Game Day" productions.
  • This position must work within SNU, GAC and NCAA guidelines to provide student-athletes with an exceptional collegiate promotional experience.
  • Ability to write in story format.
  • Social media production.
