Academic year 2026-2027
This is a fully on-campus role, where we do our work in community with colleagues, students, and campus partners
Expectations:
- Communicate effectively and promptly with administrators, faculty & staff
- Maintain punctual attendance
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Exhibit attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proactively seek additional responsibilities during downtime
- Collaborate well with other campus employees
- Adapt to various supervisory styles
- Maintain expected academic standing in DPT program
Responsibilities:
- Perform general office tasks (copying, filing, spreadsheets, data collection, program bulletin boards etc.)
- Support faculty for classroom set up and for the annual community clinic as assigned
- Participate in student & faculty interviews and Open House sessions (including Saturdays)
- Manage classroom inventory and inventory spaces each academic semester, including organizing laundry for pickup service and restocking returned clean items.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in classrooms & lab spaces, which may include vacuuming, wiping down tables, organizing materials, and general tidying.
- Collect and deliver mail daily
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Program Director, faculty or Administrative Assistant
- Collaborate with university and program faculty to maintain and disseminate an accurate record of service opportunities.
- Support faculty research activities
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in the DPT program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Ability to maintain academic grades above program expectations
Graduate assistants are scheduled to work 10 hours each week during their first 3 semesters of the program, including school breaks, evenings and weekends as necessary based on program needs. Appropriate notification will be given prior to scheduling.
