Job Description

Job Title: Grain & Agronomy OperatorLocation: Hastings, NE Pay: $19.21 per hourJob Type: Full-TimeJob OverviewWe are seeking a Grain & Agronomy Operator to join a facility in Hastings, NE. In this role, you will assist with grain handling, fertilizer blending, and general facility operations. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in an agricultural environment. No experience is required training will be provided.Schedule
  • Monday Friday: 7: 00 AM 5: 00 PM
  • Weekends as needed
  • Hours may vary depending on operational needs
  • Significant overtime available during harvest season
Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload grain commodities.
  • Blend and load dry and liquid fertilizers and agricultural chemicals.
  • Perform light maintenance and general housekeeping around grain elevators and facility areas.
  • Assist with loading railcars at certain facilities when needed.
  • Operate heavy equipment when certified.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
  • No experience required training provided
  • Mechanical aptitude or agricultural background is a plus
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment
  • Must not have allergies to corn or grain
  • Ability to work extended hours during harvest season
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in an agricultural environment
Work Gear Requirements
  • Must wear over-the-ankle boots with at least 50% leather
  • Steel-toed boots are not required
