Monday – Friday, Day shift, 40hrs/week + Occasional Saturday & Extended Hours During the Week

A local agronomy business in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Grain Operations Specialist to join their growing team! You will be at the heart of the grain handling system—keeping the operation running smoothly, safely, and efficiently during some of the most exciting seasons in agriculture. If you love working with your hands, solving problems, and being part of a team that feeds the world, this is the role for you.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsibilities: 

• Loads and unloads trucks arriving at and leaving the facility (trucks only, no rail).

• Operates grain dryers, conveyors, bucket elevators, and mobile equipment like skid loaders and tractors.

• Monitors grain quality and ensures loads meet standards.

• Performs daily equipment checks, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Keeps facilities clean and safe according to company and OSHA standards.

• Assists customers and truck drivers with fast, friendly service.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Hands-on mechanical curiosity and willingness to learn equipment.

• Previous ag, grain, or manufacturing experience preferred.

• CDL or interest in getting one is a plus.
