Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Manage and track grant funding in compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsPrepare and maintain accurate financial reports for grant-funded programsMonitor budgets and ensure proper allocation of grant expensesPerform account reconciliations and support month-end close processesAssist with audits and ensure compliance with grant requirements (OMB Uniform Guidance a plus)Collaborate with program managers to ensure proper financial tracking and reportingMaintain documentation and ensure readiness for internal and external audits

Qualifications

3+ years of accounting experience, with grant accounting preferredStrong understanding of GAAP and fund accounting principlesExperience with federal or state grant compliance (OMB Uniform Guidance preferred)Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple grants and deadlines simultaneouslyBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
