Job Description
Graphic Design Intern
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Responsible to create materials to promote the Zippo name and its subsidiaries in the global marketplace
- Assist with the creation of visual designs for marketing materials, social media, digital, and other projects
- Responsible for design and layout that is unique, functional and appealing
- Follow established brand standards, guidelines and procedures in the creation of designs
- Perform basic image manipulation
- Creatively solve design problems as they relate to a task
- Assure deadlines and schedules are met
- Check own finished artwork for accuracy
- Perform related, additional duties or special assignments, as directed
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in graphic design (junior or senior year), or related professional experience
- A basic portfolio showing current range of skills that apply to the position is required, in addition to proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud software – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
This is an office hourly, full on-site position located in Bradford, PA
Smoking is permitted in most areas of Zippo workplace facilities, other than certain designated non-smoking areas.
