As a Graphic Design Co-op, you'll join our business services team and help shape how we tell our story through design and copy. From eye-catching graphics to thoughtful event branding and creative communications, you'll get hands-on experience blending design, writing, and strategy to engage audiences inside and outside the firm.

What You'll Do

• Design and write content for graphics, presentations, and campaigns that support both internal and external communications.
• Create visual assets for events, social media, and digital platforms while sharpening your design and branding skills.
• Assist with planning and setting up events, making sure messaging and visuals feel seamless and on-brand.
• Contribute to employer branding and culture initiatives with fresh ideas and creative execution.
• Collaborate across departments and learn how design and communication come together to build strong engagement.

Who You Are

• Junior or Senior or Graduate student in Business, Marketing or Communications.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and user-friendly platforms such as Canva for social media content
• Strong design eye, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Location & Travel Expectations

This role is based in one of our physical office locations-Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; or Greensboro, NC-and is ideal for candidates who thrive in a highly collaborative, in person environment. Being onsite allows for deeper day to day engagement with peers and project teams, faster decision making, and organic moments of creativity and mentorship that emerge through shared space.

Compensation & Benefits

Your growth matters here - our pay reflects both your contributions and your potential.Our co-op positions start at $20/hour, with the opportunity to increase by $1/hour for each additional term you return (up to a maximum of $22/hour). Graduate students begin at $22/hour. SHP also covers your parking expenses, so you can focus fully on gaining meaningful experience without worrying about the cost of getting here.
