Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $55,500.00 - $74,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

We're looking for a talented graphic designer to design and deliver impactful sales and marketing pieces, executing content, campaign and collateral pieces in both print and digital formats for use across marketing channels, including building digital content assets within our content management system platform. Types of digital pieces include email, landing pages, charts, infographics and imagery. Traditional pieces include printable articles and collateral.
The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing with an appreciation for brand standards and consistency and a desire to bring an eye for high end production.
This role is located in the Clayton, St. Louis office and works full-time from the office.
Essential Functions
Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize, develop and deliver innovative graphic designs in both traditional and digital formats that meet business goals with an eye for detail
Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple, cross-functional teams on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, collateral, signage, internal communications, and marketing materials
Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately
Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team, including internal and external agency and production partners, to meet deadlines and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout techniques, and production across digital and print mediums, preferably with a high-net-worth brand or service
Knowledge of designing and building webpages in a content management system, like Hubspot, preferred
Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
Desire to continue building skill set with education and training
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
3+ years of experience in professional graphic design required
3+ years of professional experience with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop required
2+ years marketing experience required
Level of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education

This compensation range is for the Graphic Design Specialist II & III - CTC job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in determining most appropriate job level and making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $55,500 to $74,500 annually.
