Graphic Designer

Global Financial Firm located in GETZVILLE, NY has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Graphic DesignerWork Mode: Hybrid Pay rate range: $ 30.00 - $ 32.00 Negotiable based upon years of experienceResponsibilities:

• Produce a variety of live deal collateral such as pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, and infographics using MS Office and Adobe applications.
• Assist with the production of creative PowerPoint pitch books and offer conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials, including motion graphics.
• Trace and produce logos, maps, and illustrations.
• Ensure all materials produced are correctly branded according to company standards and advise clients on brand usage.
• Liaise directly with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines, job instructions, and design requirements.
• Complete related administrative tasks for department purposes, including accurate work billing and job tracking.
• Perform quality control when required and assist colleagues with QC tasks.
• Partner with new starters post-training.
• Contribute to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of administrative/operational support experience in a corporate, service-oriented environment, ideally in a financial institution.
• Advanced knowledge of industry-standard graphic design applications.

Preferred Skills:

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional).
• Knowledge of MapInfo, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, and Blender is an advantage.
• Knowledge of external print processes is desirable.
