Job Details:Job Title: Graphic Designer Men's ApparelLocation: New York, NY (Hybrid 3 days/week in office)Duration: 3 MonthsType: Full-Time, Contract

Note: Portfolio required.

Description: An apparel retailer is looking for a Graphic Designer to play a key role in creating innovative, trend-driven graphics for apparel across a lifestyle brand. In this role, you will lead the creative exploration and execution of graphic design concepts within assigned apparel categories, ensuring consistency with brand direction. You will design original, trend-right artwork, develop unique typographic treatments, illustrations, and layout solutions for apparel applications, and own the graphic direction for assigned product categories. You will research and interpret design trends using social media platforms, market analysis, and historical data, and collaborate with cross-functional partners in Design, Merchandising, and Production. You will prepare and present trend and inspiration boards, maintain organized digital design libraries, and present design concepts to senior leadership.

Requirements for the role:

  • 3 4 years of experience designing graphics for men's apparel (knits, tees, fleece, polos, etc.)

  • Proven ability to develop innovative, brand-right graphic concepts and typography

  • Strong sketching and illustration skills

  • Deep understanding of lifestyle brand demographics and market positioning

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail and passion for creative excellence

  • Portfolio required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred)

  • 3 4 years of relevant graphic design experience in apparel

  • Or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with digital collaboration tools such as Miro
