Job Description

At MJH Life Sciences our success is measured by your success! If you set your standards high and want to contribute to a winning team, we’ll provide you with every opportunity to help grow our company and your career. Our associates come from all backgrounds, sharing one key quality: determination to succeed. We value being Service Focused, having a Passion for Winning, Innovation, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork. Nothing means more to us than hiring people with these attributes. If you believe you’re right for the job, this is the place to prove it!

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to create and produce design projects for multiple internal and external brand assignments across digital and print formats. You will support Art Directors and Senior Graphic Designers within Creative Services while working closely with marketing, content, and project management teams across MJH. This role requires strong design fundamentals, the ability to manage concurrent deliverables in a deadline-driven environment, and active use of AI tools as a standard part of your creative and production workflow.

What You'll Do

  • Design and produce materials across a wide range of formats and channels, including print and digital advertisements, direct mail, websites, email and newsletters, sales presentations, social media assets, signage, and live event collateral
  • Use AI tools — including generative image and video tools, Adobe Firefly, AI features within Creative Cloud, and AI-assisted copy and concept development — as a working part of your daily creative process, applying sound judgment about when AI is appropriate and adhering to brand, legal, and ethical guidelines throughout
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive environment, and the vision of assigned brands to inform design decisions
  • Coordinate and route workflow to ensure all projects reach the right destination on time, maintaining consistent on-time delivery across all assignments
  • Support senior designers and Art Directors with layout, production, and design execution across internal and external client work
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the broader Creative Services team

What Sets You Apart

  • Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; experience with HTML and motion graphics a plus
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and their application to design and marketing workflows — including generative image and video tools, Adobe Firefly, AI features within Creative Cloud, and AI-assisted concept development — with sound judgment about when AI is appropriate and how to apply it within brand, legal, and ethical boundaries
  • In-depth understanding of visual communication and design including color theory, 2D and 3D design, visual composition and hierarchy, information hierarchy, aesthetics, typography, and use of symbols
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments in a deadline-oriented environment without losing quality or detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across creative, marketing, content, and project management teams
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems quickly, decisively, and independently
  • Four-year degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field required

AI Capability Expectation

Candidates should be prepared to discuss how they are currently using AI in their design or creative production work. This includes:

  • Specific tools in active use — such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, generative video tools, or AI features within Creative Cloud — and how they are applied to concepting, asset generation, or production tasks
  • How you evaluate when AI is the right tool for a given creative task and when it is not — particularly in relation to brand standards, client guidelines, and legal requirements
  • How you maintain creative ownership and quality control over AI-generated elements before they appear in final client-facing deliverables
  • Bonus: examples of AI-enhanced design workflows that improved your creative output, production speed, or ability to manage concurrent assignments

Compensation Range

45,000 - 52,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. Compensation will depend on factors including educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Benefits Overview

We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Hybrid work schedule
  • Health insurance through Cigna (medical and dental)
  • Vision coverage through VSP
  • Pharmacy benefits through OptumRx
  • FSA, HSA, Dependent Care FSA, and Limited Purpose FSA options

Our Operating Standard

We operate with discipline, clarity, and accountability. The ability to effectively leverage AI to improve speed, quality, and output is an expectation in this role, not a preference.
