Job Description
Graphic Designer / Prepress Designer
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers via phone, email, and walk-in inquiries.
- Review customer artwork and create print-ready files for production.
- Design and modify marketing materials including business cards, brochures, flyers, banners, signs, direct mail pieces, and promotional products.
- Prepare proofs and estimates while clearly communicating project requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure files are properly prepared and produced accurately.
- Recommend creative solutions that help customers achieve their marketing and communication goals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow up promptly with customers regarding proofs, estimates, revisions, and project status updates.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Strong knowledge of print production and prepress requirements.
- Understanding of:
- Digital vs. Offset Printing
- CMYK and PMS Color Systems
- Bleeds and Margins
- Print Registration
- Color Matching
- Spot Colors
- Paper Stocks and Weights
- Coatings and Finishing Options
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with clients in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Team player willing to assist wherever needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
