Graphic Production Technician

The Charter Township of Shelby's Community Relations Department is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Graphic Production Technician. Applicants must have work experience in animation, motion graphics or graphic design for broadcast productions with solid knowledge of design and visual principles, a demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design and software skills using Adobe Creative Cloud apps (After Effects, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop), and a valid Driver's License.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $15.58 per hour. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Essential Job Functions

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist full-time staff with animation and graphic design to complement video productions
• Design materials for use in print and digital campaigns to promote township events and services
• Design and implement graphics as part of the Community Relations Department's Live Event Production Crew
• Assist with online communication plans, such as social media posting
