Job Description
Overview:
This role will be supporting our Graphic Services activities under the supervision of Dr. Will Ray. An ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with graphic design, layout and related software.
- Experience with at least one visual/studio-arts modality, formal training is ideal.
- Experience with general and biomedical/anatomical illustration in traditional, mixed media and digital vector formats.
- Knowledge of human anatomy. Knowledge of cellular microanatomy and molecular structure representations is ideal.
- Experience with motion graphics and computer animation, and/or traditional animation, videography and editing is ideal.
- Experience with complex data visualization and at least one data-visualization programming language (Python, Processing, etc) is desirable.

- Obtains supplies and equipment needed for research projects and ensures they in proper working condition.
- Assists in laboratory analysis and data interpretation.
- Assists in the preparation and drafting of research proposals and reports, collecting and collating supporting data.
- Organizes and maintains laboratory records.
- Maintains clean laboratory area and equipment.
- Follows all safety protocols and procedures.
