JOB SUMMARY The Group Fitness Coordinator will prepare and lead fun, safe and effective group classes based on the class description, offering modifications for less experienced or more experienced clients as needed. The Group Fitness Coordinator will represent the club in a positive manner, greeting the members as they enter and leave class and while taking and evaluating other classes.  The Group Fitness Coordinator will be required to teach a minimum of 3 classes per week and teach exclusively for Chiefs Fit.  

This is a part-time position.  Your daily schedule will vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the club, the staff, and the members.  

KEY PERFORMANCE EVALUATION FACTORS·       Dress appropriately for all classes·       Maintain current and correct certifications for his/her format(s) ·       Begin and ends classes on time·       Prepares and leads a fun, safe and effective class for all levels of participation based on class description·       Keep studios orderly and use a microphone windscreen when teaching·       Maintain an electronic record of classes taught or subbed, including attendance numbers·       When needed, secure substitute teacher(s) to cover your regular class or a class you have agreed to sub·       All written or verbal communication must be delivered to instructors in a positive manner·       Instructors and GF Coordinator will always uphold the brand standards of the Kansas City Chiefs·       Evaluates one class per week with a different instructor each week and submits evaluation to Group Fitness Manager (GFM)·       Participates, organizes and leads member appreciation events and team teach classes·       Onboards new instructors·       Decorates for and participates in special events·       Is knowledgeable about our signature formats and our brand·       Auditions new instructors and submits new hire requests to GFM and HR·       Manages sub requests and schedule changes·       Edits group fitness timesheets and ensures class participation #’s and instructor changes are accurately electronically recorded in ABC·       Submits quarterly class schedule within payroll budget to GFM for approval·       Submits class participation #’s and reports to GFM monthly·       Attends and participates in leadership calls with GFM, club leaders and corporate team
