- Lead scheduled group fitness classes in a safe, professional, and motivating manner
- Provide clear instruction, exercise demonstrations, and modifications for all fitness levels
- Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere for members
- Arrive prepared and on time for all assigned classes
- Maintain class attendance, engagement, and energy levels
- Ensure music, equipment, and room setup are appropriate before each class
- Promote member retention by building strong relationships with participants
- Enforce gym policies and maintain a safe exercise environment
- Stay current on fitness trends, formats, and certifications
- Represent Gold’s Gym in a professional and positive manner at all times
- Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, etc.) preferred
- CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain within required timeframe
- Previous group instruction experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of people
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed

- Ability to lead classes for 30–60 minutes at a time
- Ability to demonstrate exercises and movements safely
- Ability to lift, move, and set up equipment as needed
