Job Description
This position is responsible for the basic coordination of activities of employees engaged in Material Prep.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow all short sheets, standard operating procedures and Amphenol’s company safety regulations.
- Perform and/or learn all the operations associated with the Insulation and Material Prep.
- Drive continuous improvement in the department to meet department as well as business goals.
- Safe work habits/operate under high safety standards.
- Cycle count assignments, tracking and verifying.
- Expired material management for material and insulation prep including Pre-preg
- Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
- This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
- May be required to cross train in other departments.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
- Proven leadership abilities, prior group leader or coordinator experience.
- Forklift and power pallet jack license or training.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building and organization skills in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to maintain/develop reports/analyze data – Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Outlook/Word/Excel.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 35 lbs. safely.
- 2+ years of PCB experience with prior Material Prep experience preferred.
