About This Opportunity

Role Summary

 The Digital team at 7-Eleven is reimagining how consumers view convenience. As a Group Manager, Product Management, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of customer experiences within our digital ecosystem—including mobile apps, loyalty, payments, and internal platforms. This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and scalability across our most strategic digital initiatives.

You will serve as a player-coach, managing a small team of product managers while also directly contributing to product delivery. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an avid problem solver, and a strong communicator with a passion for building impactful and meaningful customers and internal experiences.

Responsibilities

40% Strategy & Planning

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for accounting and settlement systems across digital platforms.
  • Translate business goals and end-user needs into product strategy; communicate direction and priorities to engineering, accounting, and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and track KPIs related to reconciliation accuracy, operational efficiency, and system scalability.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and innovation.
  • Balance user needs with business goals to drive financial accuracy, improve efficiency, and enhance internal and external satisfaction.

30% Delivery & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery, prioritization, delivery, and iteration.
  • Own and manage the product backlog; make data-driven decisions to maximize business value.
  • Collaborate with engineering and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of features.
  • Work with user research and testing teams to validate assumptions and refine product direction.
  • Participate in and lead agile ceremonies including standups, planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Translate complex financial and technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements for stakeholders.

30% Team & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Provides leadership, mentoring and coaching to Product Managers.
  • Attracts, retains and develops top talent to build a world class Product Management Team.
  • Build strong partnerships with engineering, accounting, finance, and operations teams to resolve issues and drive alignment.
  • Act as a proponent of modern agile development practices and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the product team in cross-functional forums and executive-level discussions.
  • Participate in talent acquisition, development, and retention activities in support of team growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of product management experience leading customer-facing digital products
  • Proven ability to define product vision, translate ambiguity into clear roadmaps, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Strong data-driven decision making, including KPIs, experimentation, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Customer-obsessed, detail-oriented problem solver with a bias for action.
  • Experience working with senior leaders to shape product direction, communicate tradeoffs, and drive alignment.
  • Strong product judgment and comfort engaging across technical topics required to build scalable, reliable products.
