The Product team at H1 builds data intelligence tools used by commercial, medical affairs, and clinical teams across the world's largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies. This Group Product Manager role sits at the intersection of clinical domain expertise and product leadership — you will own a product area within H1's clinical intelligence suite and lead a team of PMs working to bring that vision to life.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1
As Group Product Manager, Clinical, you will set strategy, lead a team, and drive execution across H1's clinical data products. You will work directly with clinical stakeholders, data science, engineering, and commercial leadership to define what we build and why.You will:- Own the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for H1's clinical data product area, balancing customer commitments with long-term platform investment- Lead, develop, and support a team of 2–4 product managers — running roadmap reviews, facilitating prioritization, and owning their growth and performance- Drive discovery with clinical stakeholders including physicians, medical affairs leads, and health system buyers to surface unmet needs and validate solutions- Translate complex clinical workflows and HCP user needs into structured, actionable product requirements for engineering and design- Partner with data science to bring new clinical datasets, models, and signals into production in ways that are reliable and user-facing- Define success metrics for your product area and own reporting on engagement, data quality, and clinical user satisfaction- Establish and maintain team rituals — sprint planning, backlog grooming, roadmap reviews, and retrospectives — and hold the bar on delivery quality- Represent the product in executive reviews and client-facing conversations as the domain authority for clinical intelligence- Collaborate with commercial and customer success teams to ensure clinical product investments support retention and expansion goals- Identify and address gaps in data coverage, interoperability, or clinical workflow alignment that limit adoption or trust in H1's clinical products
ABOUT YOU
You have a clinical background — through training, practice, or deep embedded experience in clinical health IT — and you have converted that domain expertise into product leadership. You are comfortable managing a team through ambiguity and holding the line on prioritization when everything feels urgent. You lead with context, not directives.- A people manager who has led at least 1–2 PMs through full product cycles, including roadmap ownership, stakeholder alignment, and performance calibration- Clinically credentialed or equivalent in depth: MD, PharmD, NP, PA, RN, MPH, or 5+ years embedded in clinical health IT or real-world evidence- Experienced shipping B2B data products to healthcare or life sciences buyers, with demonstrable ownership of outcomes — not just delivery- Fluent in clinical data standards (ICD, CPT, SNOMED, RxNorm) and their practical implications for product design and data quality- A strong communicator who can adjust register for clinical SMEs, engineering leads, and executive stakeholders without losing precision- Energized by complexity and comfortable making consequential tradeoffs in ambiguous environments
REQUIREMENTS
- Clinical credential or equivalent depth: MD, PharmD, NP, PA, RN, MPH, or 5+ years in clinical health IT or real-world evidence- People management: 1+ years managing product managers, with ownership of their roadmaps, priorities, and growth- B2B product experience: 5+ years in product management, preferably on data-intensive or analytics products in healthcare or life sciences- Clinical data familiarity: Working knowledge of ICD, CPT, SNOMED, RxNorm, or equivalent clinical standards in a product context- Stakeholder fluency: Proven ability to drive alignment across clinical, engineering, data science, and commercial functions- Data and analysis skills: Comfortable using data to validate product decisions; SQL or Python experience a strong plus
COMPENSATION
This role pays $175,000 to $220,000 per year, based on experience, in addition to equity (RSUs).
