About the Position:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Grower Accounting Assistant to support grower settlements and accounting functions in a fast-paced citrus packing house environment. This position supports the Grower Accountant by ensuring accurate and timely recording related to grower deliveries, pack-outs, fruit processing & sales proceeds leading to timely delivery of pool statements and accurate grower payments to our Growers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and verify fruit receipts, grades, sizes and pack-out data
• Assist with grower statements and pool accounting
• Reconcile grower advances, deductions, and packing charges

• Maintain accurate and organized grower files and documentation

• Respond to grower inquiries and resolve discrepancies

• Coordinate with production, shipping, sales, and grower relations teams to resolve discrepancies

• Support month-end and seasonal accounting processes
• Assist Grower Accountant with other tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Accounting or administrative experience (agriculture or produce a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and Excel skills
• Ability to handle high-volume, seasonal data
• Experience with Famous ERP or grower accounting system a plus
