Job Description:

The Growth Marketing Paid Media Supervisor is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and delivery of UPS's paid search and digital advertising campaigns.

This role is ideal for early-career professionals (3-5 years of experience) who are actively managing campaigns within advertising platforms and enjoy executing, optimizing, and analyzing performance. This is not a strategy-only role-the Specialist will work directly in platforms such as Google Ads, SA360, and Meta Ads Manager to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and effectively.

The Supervisor partners closely with Paid Search and Advertising Managers to execute established strategies across global and U.S. markets, ensuring campaigns are launched on time, properly paced, and continuously optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Execution & Optimization

  • Execute paid search and digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, SA360, and Meta Ads Manager

  • Manage day-to-day campaign operations, including:

  • Campaign setup and trafficking

  • Budget pacing and bid adjustments

  • Creative rotations and QA checks

  • Monitor campaign performance daily and implement in-flight optimizations to improve efficiency, ROI, and conversions

  • Support keyword management, audience targeting, and testing initiatives (A/B or multivariate)

Campaign Management & Delivery

  • Support execution of global and regional campaigns based on established strategies
  • Maintain campaign timelines, ensuring on-time launches and smooth execution
  • Identify and flag performance or execution issues, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Analytics, Content, and Product) to ensure campaigns are aligned and delivered effectively

Performance Reporting & Insights

  • Pull and analyze campaign data to support weekly and monthly reporting
  • Work with analytics partners to contribute to dashboards and performance summaries
  • Identify trends and provide clear, actionable insights to improve campaign performance
  • Support post-campaign analysis to inform future optimization and planning

Agency & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with external agencies to ensure campaigns are executed according to plan and meet UPS standards
  • Support communication with internal stakeholders across marketing and regional teams
  • Contribute to campaign updates and performance summaries shared with leadership

Operational Excellence & Best Practices

  • Follow established processes, governance, and quality standards for paid media campaigns
  • Assist in documenting campaign workflows and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency and reduce operational gaps

Qualifications

Required

  • 3-5 years of hands-on paid media experience, actively managing campaigns in platforms such as Google Ads, SA360, or Meta Ads Manager

  • Proven experience executing and optimizing paid search or digital advertising campaigns

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make optimization decisions

  • Experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute accurately under deadlines

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field, or current UPS employee with relevant education and/or experience.

Preferred

  • Experience working with SEM platforms such as Google Ads, SA360or similar tools.

  • Prior exposure to keyword research and planning, ad copywriting, layout and review, audience targeting, A/B or MVT testing

  • Familiarity with paid advertising, including display and social platforms such as Meta and/or LinkedIn

  • Exposure to display, social, or programmatic advertising platforms

  • Experience supporting campaigns across multiple markets or regions

Additional Considerations

  • Candidates should demonstrate consistent tenure and growth in prior roles (typically 1.5-2+ years per position)
  • This role is best suited for candidates who enjoy hands-on campaign execution rather than high-level strategy development
  • Experience collaborating in in-office or hybrid team environments is preferred

What Success Looks Like

  • Accurate and consistent execution of paid media campaigns across platforms
  • Improved campaign performance through effective day-to-day optimizations
  • Strong collaboration with internal teams and agency partners
  • Clear, data-driven reporting that supports ongoing performance improvements
  • Reliable delivery of campaigns on time and within budget
