Guest And Safety Specialist

The Guest and Safety Specialist is a key ambassador of hospitality and security at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, ensuring every guest and team member experiences a welcoming and safe environment. This role blends exceptional customer service with vigilant safety awareness to uphold the Club’s high standards. Specialists work independently or collaboratively based on event and property needs, providing seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. Core responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, coordinating on-site transportation, and proactively maintaining safety, integrity, and overall guest satisfaction across the property.

Essential Functions:

• Guest Engagement: Provide a warm, professional welcome and assist guests upon arrival to weddings, events, and property venues.
• Transportation Support: Safely transport and escort guests between the Inn, event spaces, and parking areas, ensuring comfort and efficiency.
• Service Excellence: Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns to deliver exceptional service.
• Safety Oversight: Monitor property grounds, buildings, and event areas to maintain a secure, orderly, and enjoyable environment.
• Issue Reporting: Identify and report safety hazards, security risks, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate departments.
• Event Operations: Assist with parking and crowd management during high-volume events to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Policy Enforcement: Enforce venue policies with professionalism and discretion, preserving guest satisfaction and property standards.
• Communication: Maintain effective coordination with event management, operations teams, and local authorities as needed.
• Documentation: Complete accurate, timely incident and activity reports in accordance with company procedures.
• Operational Support: Perform additional duties as assigned to uphold guest safety, service excellence, and overall event success.

Position Type/Work Schedule Expectation

This is a part-time position to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
