Guest Service Morning Shift

Job Summary:Our Guest Service team plays a vital role in providing a positive experience for our guests through maintainingawareness of their situational surroundings at all times. To effectively manage the traffic flow coming into the property,to validate the Orange Beach city residents, and intentions of visiting guests. It’s very important to CoastAL OrangeBeach that each and every guest is greeted in a welcoming way, whether it’s their 1st or 100th visit. Below are thecomponents that each Guest Service must successfully perform on a daily basis to ensure our department goals are met.● Provide customer service to our guests by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies andwhen appropriate, emergency response activities.● Maintain constant visibility of your dedicated zone and be aware of all guests’ well-being and take appropriatesteps to avoid potential threats or problems.● Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. This also includes trash pick-upthroughout the grounds and in the parking lots.● Use a de-escalation method during a stressful event and have the ability to approach a situation with anonaggressive and calm attitude to prevent the issue from intensifying.● Alliance to the Guest Service and the CoastAL Management team to always support each other and understandthat the guest’s safety is our number one goal.● Maintain CoastAL’s reputation and tradition with professionalism and legal compliance.● Must complete Responsible Vendor Training / Alcohol Training as required.Essential Qualifications and Experience:● Ability to effectively communicate with guests, peers, and management.● Ability to multitask, and take ownership of the different tasks that are assigned.● Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.● Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic when talking to guests and coworkers.● Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing up to 8 consecutive hours and occasionalstooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders etc..● Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.● Basic First Aid / CPR training/certification preferred● High School Diploma or equivalent● Military/Law Enforcement/ First Responder experience is a plus.● Willingness to work peak hours including weekends and holidays.● Ability to work in a warm/hot environment, or inclement weather conditions.This position is for 9:00am to 5:00pm Up to 25 hours per weekStarting Rate: $18 per hour
