Hand MIG WelderLocation: Hastings, NEPay: $18.00/hourShift: 1st Shift | Monday Friday, 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PMType: Temp-to-HireLooking for a steady day-shift welding position with the opportunity for long-term employment? We re hiring a Hand MIG Welder for a manufacturing facility in Hastings.This position involves manual MIG welding, so we're looking for someone who understands what a quality weld should look like and can consistently produce solid, dependable work.What You'll Do
- Perform manual MIG welding on manufactured parts and components
- Set up and use welding equipment safely and correctly
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify weld defects and make corrections as needed
- Follow production specifications and work instructions
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
- MIG welding experience preferred
- Knowledge of proper welding techniques and ability to recognize a quality weld
- Good attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Excellent attendance and reliability are a must
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
