Job Description
Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer Type: Contract (12-18 months) Location: Fridley, MN. 100% onsite. Pay range: $95.00-$102.00 per hour on W2Job Description: The Client Hardware Engineering Team in Fridley, MN is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Engineering Contractor to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems. You will work closely with our internal engineering team to ensure projects are completed on time. This is an on-site position. Hardware designers must be able to work as part of these cross functional teams and be able to navigate the challenges that occur in designing complex products.Must Have Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years experience in hardware design and development.
- Proven experience with Schematic design tools (e.g., Cadence/Allegro ).
- Experience with hardware testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with common lab bench top equipment (scopes, DMMs, function generators, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
