Hardware Operator

GENERAL DUTIES

• Operates push pedal on equipment to install a variety of hardware into sheet metal.
• Tests and adjusts equipment under the guidance of management.
• Maintains high level of productivity and produces quality hardware installation.
• Able to identify equipment, production, or hardware issues.
• Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Great eye-hand coordination
• Having a team-orientated state of mind
• Be able to understand basic directions in English (required)
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to stand, walk and lift for up to 8 hours daily.
• Vision abilities requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth
• Required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. continually.
• May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Moderately loud noise levels in plant environment.
